Mukhtar Hasan – President 
Mukhtar Hasan, an Omani national, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a Corporate Finance qualification issued jointly by this Institute together with the Securities Investment Institute and the Chartered Accountants Institute of Canada. He graduated as a Bachelor of Commerce in 1970 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1974. He is also a member of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Mr. Hasan has local and international experience in banking, finance, senior management, private equity, corporate finance and investments. Mr. Hasan is the chairman of Al Barij International LLC, which is a corporate finance firm specialising in corporate turnarounds. He has served on the Board of several companies including Omani public companies United Power, Renaissance Services, Renaissance Hospitality, National Hospitality, Muscat Finance, Oman Textile, Gulf Investment Services and First Mazoon Fund. Mr. Hasan also served as the Chairman of the American British Academy, an IB World School in Muscat for a number of years. He is currently Chairman of Muscat Thread Mills, Managing Director of Gulf Mushroom Products Company SAOG and Vice Chairman of Oman Dental College. Talal is a Solicitor of England and Wales. Talal spent the earlier part of his life managing a prominent surf shop in London so has good knowledge of the lifestyle brands industry. Talal currently works as a corporate lawyer and his contact base in the region makes him a good asset to Tiki Style ME. |
Hish Hasan – Vice President
Hisham graduated from University of London Goldsmiths in London with a BA in Politics and Economics in 2002. He then went on to work at KPMG in Muscat, Oman continuing with professional qualifications of ACCA (Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants). Hisham joined Al Barij International in 2006 since then he has helped Al Barij set up Al Barij International Technologies, Amphibia Diving (Scuba Diving) and Passion Trek (Tourist Activities). Hisham has over 8 years experience in the Financial, Information Technology, Retail and Tourism sectors. Today, as well as his role as vice president of Tiki Style ME, Hisham is also the Managing Director at Al Barij International Technologies, World Wide LLC and Bikum Discount Cards. Avi Advani – Vice President
Avi has 11 years of experience, with 5 of those years dedicated to entrepreneurship. He started his career in technology, after completing his degree in Computer Engineering at Purdue University, and then going on to work at Cisco Systems in California. 5 years later, Avi moved to Dubai to launch an IT Consulting Company: his first independent venture. After several years as a successful technology entrepreneur, Avi was recruited by a leading real-estate software provider, Masterkey, to come on as the CEO. Even while at Masterkey, Avi's entrepreneurial spirit continued to call and as a side-venture, he began working with Hish, a childhood friend of his, to launch Body Glove and other active lifestyle brands in the Middle East through the incorporation of Tiki Style ME. Today, Avi focuses on growing Tiki Style ME's business in the region, while maintaining his passion for technology by being simultaneously involved as a Director in a cutting-edge information security company, Fluxer ME Limited |
